We were on our way somewhere north of
town and had stopped along the road for pictures. This is a photo of my
Mom and I. The camera is facing toward Brown's Gold Mine and Vidal
Junction. Rice Road is just below.
A couple people wandered into the desert in search of gold and were
never heard of again. The desert has the power to swallow you with it's
secrets. A few mistakes and you were lost forever.
